Program Notes

The Joseph Arieno Scholarship Award is given each year to those graduating seniors from Irondequoit high schools who show demonstrated "service above self" over the course of their high school years.

Student Scholarship award winners and their parents joined us tonight and told us a little about their service to the community and their future college plans before being presented with a check for their college expenses by President Lynn Wozniak, Lily Lynch & Bob Spatola.

Peter Clemens (West Irondequoit) will attend Duquesne University in the fall, and plans to be a Physician Assistant.  Peter achieved Eagle Scout status with a project to help rescue Pit Bulls with a foster program.  He also was active in the drama club at West Irondequoit.

Eriel Young (Eastridge) will attend St. John Fisher UNIVERSITY in the fall as a Nursing Major.  Eriel was extremely active during her high schools years:  had a dual enrollment at MCC, enjoyed great exposure to her future career at local hospitals (New Vision Program), was a member of Student Council, active at a Baptist Church, and worked on minority ads for University of Rochester.

Congratulations to our Scholarship Award recipients and their parents!!

Contributions/Fines
Multiple contributions for:  our Scholarship Award recipients & their parents, the scholarship committee,  & President Lynn's great year coming to a close.  Terri Bastuk is proud of her granddaughter Lola's kindergarten graduation.  Several members will be attending General Rappl's interment at Arlington National Cemetery.  Happy end of year for those with school children.  Congrats to President Lynn who enrolled in a graduate certificate program to become a Healthcare Chaplin.
