Meeting Notes
Business Meeting tonight.

Finances are in good shape.  Nearly all members are caught up with dues so Treasurer Jason Miller is happy.  We will continue to only accept cash or checks for the time being until an online resource is made available.  The club voted to add Angels Of Mercy as an annually budgeted line item.

Application for membership has been received by:  Jessica Franco, Captain with the Irondequoit Police Department (Sponsor: Peter Mendick).  Several other prospective members are close to submitting applications.

The Irondequoit Foundation paperwork for IRS has been filed and the NYS paperwork is underway.

Camp Haccamo Update from Ray Holla:  Ruth Cronkwright has resigned as Camp President and is being replaced by Robert Williams who was VP.  This camping season was very successful with over 60 campers per week.  Kenn Van Dieren is stepping down from the Camp Board of Directors after many years of devoted service.  The club applauds Kenn's efforts and greatly thanks him.  Please see Ray Holla if you would like to succeed Kenn as an Irondequoit representative on the Camp Haccamo Board of Directors.  The Playhouse is a big hit with the campers and please see Ray if you have "everyday items" that can be used in the Playhouse.  Lee Steinfeldt will let us know which upcoming weekend we can go to start making additions to the inside of the Playhouse.

Beer Auction has been cancelled.   Our club will receive an allotment of 10 cases of craft beer (20-24 items per case).  If you would like to buy a case for $50 please see Tom Kosanke.

The Pasta Dinner committee met last week to kick off plans for this year's Pasta Dinner on November 7th.  It will be a drive-thru like last year as that was very successful and covid is still an issue.  The committee is looking at a placemat for sponsorships.  We will not be doing the sponsor booklet this year but will recognize sponsors on the website and possibly on placemats (perhaps for those with higher levels of donations).

President Lynn and Dick Butler are revising the club's by-laws and will have a version that we can all vote on in September.  They are looking at reducing the number of Board Directors and adjusting attendance requirements to match current Rotary guidelines.

Our club has set aside $20,000 for a potential large project to be determined after a club strategic plan is conducted.  Bill Gormont from District 7120 will speak at an upcoming meeting to introduce the strategic planning process.

In an effort to increase all club members knowledge of the Rotary Foundation, President Lynn handed out Rotary Foundation Bullets for the first 5 weeks of the new Rotary year.   These will come each week for a year.  Also distributed was a 21 Day Equity Challenge which is a Diversity project supported by Rotary.  Click HERE for a copy of the two hand-outs.

President Lynn sent out an email with her prospective Donation Request form.  Please get her any questions or comments you may have.

Louis DiPrima captained a very successful National Night Out a few weeks ago and thanked all for their help and the tremendous attendance.

The Steak and Bocce night is coming up.  See Lou DiPrima if you can make it.  $25 per person.

Rotary on the Bluff at the Holla residence is August 25.  Let Ray Holla know if you are coming.

Contributions/Fines
Many contributions for the passing of Dan Murphy from Murph's Tavern.   Lou DiPrima thanks all for their support during his health issue and he is happy that daughter Stephanie is moving back to Rochester from Rome, Italy.  Jennie Gugino was thrilled with a great event that showcased the activities of Angels of Mercy with a documentary.
