BJ Cunningham reports that 300 cookies will be delivered to St. Ann's for St. Patrick's Day in lieu of our annual party - we will miss MC Les Kaszuba's antics this year.  Wegmans will box the cookies per floor to make it easier for the staff to deliver to residents.  

 

Dictionaries will be delivered to the schools this Friday.

President Elect Lynn Wozniak is looking for board members for her cabinet.  Great chance to learn more about Rotary and the workings of our club.  Please see Lynn if you can step up to help.  Looking for President Elect, Treasurer, & Secretary.  These jobs may seem daunting but the club members always help out and are supportive to anyone volunteering.

Ray Holla updated our club on the latest happenings at Camp Haccamo.  He and Kenn Van Dieren attended a Camp Haccamo Board meeting last week.  The board was appreciative of all the work done on the ROC CITY UnCorked Auction for Camp Haccamo.  Plans are for camp to occur earlier this year - weeks of July 5 (youth) and July 12 (adults).  Our club will attend the Camp Carnival Night on July 8th.  The annual Car Show is June 5th at Greece Ridge Mall near Macy's.  Please attend as a spectator or bring your car to display for others enjoyment.  This year will be the 65th anniversary of Camp Haccamo!  Many of our past club members were leaders in its creation and development.  The Camp will employ Causewave (a non-profit agency) again this year to help with fundraising and increasing the foundation.   The camp will also be helped by a new PR person.  Several efforts underway to:  Improve Communications with Rotary Clubs, Create a Development Plan, Enhance support for camper families, and Increase donations through Amazon Smile, United Way, and adding a DONATE button on the Camp Website.   Haccamo Board is looking for new members - see Ray if interested in this rewarding cause.  The money for Warren McGrail donation will go for a tree at the Camp.  Location and timing TBD.

Lots of contributions for:  Kim Miranda joining us, Jill Orologio's father-in-law in hospital, and other members & family with health issues, Ray Holla's update on Camp Haccamo and all he does for the camp, and BJ & Kenn for Senior &  Dictionary projects.  Several received covid vaccines: Norb & Bernice Rappl, Jim Cunningham & Rob Spatola.  Lee Steinfeldt closed on her home!  Jason Miller's sister-in-law health issues are improving.  CONGRATS to Louis DiPrima for purchasing a new home in Webster.
