Pasta Dinner Review - See More Photos
41st Annual Pasta Dinner was a rousing success!! We raised more revenue than ever before! Double the revenue from 2018. Same day revenue generated by the 50/50 and new Lottery Raffle raised over $500 from previous years. Congratulations to the the Pasta Committee for their year-long planning, all club members who participated by selling sponsorships, working the event, etc. and all other volunteers for their hard work in pulling this feat off. Please get volunteer names to Bob Scheidt who is working to send them a thank you for their help. He was unable to capture all volunteer names so needs your help to identify them. Many things worked better this year: the new kitchen equipment worked wonders in efficiency and storage, more volunteers than expected, and our outside staff handled traffic well. We spent most of the meeting looking for ways to improve for next year and Bob Scheidt captured those notes for next year's planning committee. Discussions centered around improving sponsor information gathering using forms, using Google Docs for sharing this info with everyone needing it, and adding our club brochure in the flyer package. It was a detailed deep dive into all operational aspects of the pasta dinner. Bob reminded us all that we are losing our Title Sponsor next year so all club members are asked to keep an eye out for a sponsor who would be willing to step up. Trail Sign at Durand Lake: Doug Kittelsen and family on a tour of the trail we helped build on Durand Lake. All were impressed. Guy's family will help support the trail sign we will install and it will also include a tribute to Guy. Thanks to Dick Butler for the photo.
