Meeting Notes
Meeting Venue:  June 22 meeting is at the Hampton Inn (1323 East Ridge Road) catered by Pasta Villa (Scholars and their families will be here).  July 6th meeting will be catered by Pasta Villa but held at the separate building next to the restaurant.

Finance:  No formal report but Treasurer Jason Miller says "we good".

Haccamo Playhouse:  President Lynn says we still need materials to make the house a "playhouse" so please bring in kitchen utensils, plates, etc. (all need to be washable and not dangerous for little people!).   Trim work is all done so painting can begin when ready.

Installation Dinner:  Tuesday, June 28th, 5-8:30PM at Sweet Briar Lodge (2888 Ridgeway Ave.)  Please RSVP to President-Elect Kim Miranda using this INVITATION FORM ASAP.  No meeting on June 29th.

Camp Haccamo:  July 28th club meeting will be at the camp as they have their Carnival Night that evening.

4th of July Parade:  Meet at the West Irondequoit High School at 10:30.  Lou DiPrima says we will need to increase budget for candy due to rising costs.

Membership:  President Lynn sent out an email survey to members to ascertain their membership intentions for next Rotary year starting July 1.  Please respond to her survey ASAP!  Membership committee has new Club Brochure, Elevator Speech, New Member Orientation Passport,  Mentor Program, and Membership Information Packet.  These will be reviewed at an upcoming meeting.

By-Laws:  President Lynn and committee did a great job showing proposed changes to the existing by-laws.  Please review the material as there will be a club vote on theses changes in the near future.  The club did vote to approve a change from 5 down to 2 At Large Directors.   There was also a long discussion on a new membership category called "Emeritus".  Rotary International does not recognize this category; it only acknowledges "Active" and "Honorary" membership categories.  Club voted against adding a new category and will simply use the Honorary category for long-time members who wish to stay connected to the club and are approved to do so by the membership.

New Slate of Officers:  The slate as proposed has been approved by a club vote:
• President – Kim Miranda
• President – Elect - Vacant • Treasurer – Jason Miller • Secretary – Lily Lynch
• Sergeant-at-Arms – Elena Barbone (and Assistant Andrea Sauer) • Director – Therese Corrigan-Bastuk
• Director – Bob Scheidt • Past President Director – Lynn Wozniak
• Past-Past President Director – Tom Kosanke

Honorary Members:  The slate as proposed has been approved by a club vote:
• Rosemary Fiore
• Lester Kaszuba
• Guy Kittelsen
• Joyce Soporito
• Richard Tantalo

Budget for Next Year:  President Lynn sent out a detailed budget proposal for next year.  Committee heads should review and be prepared to suggest changes.  Let President Lynn and Jason Miller know of any changes you need ASAP.

Jen Gugino is selling tickets to the Angels of Mercy 2nd Annual Chicken BBQ.

Quote of the Week by Steven Wright:  "When everything is coming your way, you're in the wrong lane."
