Our 38th Annual Pasta Dinner will be held on Sunday November 6, 2022 from Noon-5pm. More details to come soon. See below for info from last year's dinner: The Pasta Dinner is our largest fundraiser every year. It is held in early November at Bishop Kearney High School Cafeteria. Funds raised through the Irondequoit Rotary Pasta Dinner support the following programs and projects for the community: Rotary Camp Haccamo, Sunset House, the Irondequoit Police Department Shop with a Cop, Camp Eastman, the club Adopt-A-Family program, Entertainment for residents at St. Ann’s senior residences, Awards for student in the three high schools in Irondequoit, the Irondequoit Fourth of July Celebration, the Camp Eastman Handicapped Accessible Playground, the Irondequoit Third Grade Dictionary Project, Score Boards for Town Hall Ball Park and many other needs that arise throughout the year. Irondequoit Rotary is a long-time sponsor of Honor Flight Rochester who fly veterans to Washington, DC to visit and reflect together at their memorials. Rochester is one of 130 established hubs in the National Honor Flight Network. Finding Safe Haven

For years, Angalia Bianca had slept in abandoned buildings throughout Chicago. She stole. She did drugs. She spent time in and out of jail for forgery, theft, trespassing, and possession of narcotics. But after she landed in prison for the seventh time, something changed -- Bianca knew she wanted a better life. She just didn’t know how to make it happen. After serving her time, Bianca sought help from a local homeless organization, A Safe Haven, and moved to its shelter in the Rogers Park neighborhood. Bianca followed the program closely -- she attended all the required meetings, passed drug tests, and volunteered at every opportunity. “They taught me basic life skills. I didn’t know how to get up in the morning, or how to clean the kitchen. They showed me how to do little things that most people take for granted,” she says.A Safe Haven is a network of shelters that address the causes of chronic homelessness and teach reside

Irondequoit Rotary held our annual Installation Dinner June 26th where we celebrate the past year of service to our community and look forward to the next year. Outgoing President Dave Shaheen handed over the gavel to incoming President Bob Scheidt. Dominick and Marilyn Fantauzzo received a Lifetime Achievement award for their leadership with our annual Pasta Dinner which has generated over $500,000 over 35 years. Irondequoit Police Chief Richard Tantalo was awarded the prestigious Paul Harris Award for his continuous display of "Service Above Self". Congratulations to all those honored this evening!!
